“They were daily occurrences... just me filling studio time, not knowing what to do. I was just buying them in the pound shop and making a sculpture a day, but then some of them gained more props and objects for themselves, to transform them. After this they started to inform ideas. I started to wonder how they could work with other objects.... How they’ve informed the other sculpture and taken me elsewhere... How they’ve had to act as catalysts for... something... And I want to show how there were so many, and that there were just too many to show. Because it’s not that I don’t like them. I like them. But they aren’t really the work anymore”
